1. between 介词和副词，prep.之间;(空间上或时(shi)间上)在…中间;(数量、重量、距(ju)离等)介于…之间;分隔着(zhe);从（一地）到（另一(yi)地）;合用
adv.(空间或时间上)介于…之间
一般情况下用于两者之间；但是，也可以用于表示(shi)三者或三者以上的（时间、空间(jian)、数量、重量、距离、年龄等）之间，此时表示被修饰的人或物的左右边各一(yi)个某物或人：或表示多者的两(liang)两之间，在（两个人、群体或事物(wu)）之间；between后接的对象一(yi)般都是具体的、整齐的(de)、并具有个体分离性。
常用句型是between……(A,B,或C,D)and+最后一个：
